Since 1974 Riddle Construction has been building residential homes and commercial buildings in Henderson County.

Sam Riddle founded the company after leaving the public school system where he taught drafting and woodworking. Pursuing his ambitions of construction, quality, and customer satisfaction he has built a reputation that is well known in Henderson County.

Riddle Construction maintains an extremely low employee turn over rate. Our average employee has been with us for over 12 years. This enables us to maintain a standard of quality that is passed down to the new comers. In an industry that is renowned for “fly by night” employees we are proud of our crews and make every effort to keep them with us.

In 1997 Tim Tripp was brought on board after moving to Hendersonville from Illinois. Tim started out as a carpenter and moved his way up to become our chief estimator, project coordinator and Sam Riddle’s right hand man. His personality and accountability keep our customers happy and make Riddle Construction a better company.

In 2004 Sam Riddle’s youngest son Andrew joined the company officially making Riddle Construction a family business. Andrew is a graduate of East Carolina University in Construction Management. While in College he served his internship with Hensel-Phelps construction and upon graduation he worked for Boa Construction in Denver Colorado for 2 years as a project superintendent. He is enthusiastic in carrying on the tradition started by his father.
